Вівторкові зустрічі з українськими вчителями

У грудні минулого року, на зустрічі вчителів української мови Едмонтону та околиць, обговорювалися виклики, з якими стикаються вчителі в школі. Повстало чотири основні питання
: ресурси, позашкільна діяльність, рівень володіння українською (учнів та вчителів), організація процесу навчання (кількість учнів у класах тощо).
Пропоную вчителям української як іноземної взяти участь у Вівторкових зустрічах. Кожна зустріч матиме форму майстерні опрацювання різних тем та рівнів за вибором, відповідно до класів, рівня школи та зацікавлень. Тому буде можливість відвідати сесію принаймні раз на місяць. 
Про місця проведення Вівторкових зустрічей повідомлю пізніше. Плануємо провести наші зустрічі у Мовному центрі Вудкрофт, Центрі Св. Петра та в Методичному центрі української мови Університету Альберти.  

During our Zustrich with the Ukrainian Language Teachers (December 4^th 2012) we discussed the challenges the teachers face in their work at school and there were four major topics which were pointed out as to be supported. They were: Resourses, Afterschool Activities, Language Level (both students’ and teachers’) and Organization of Study (number of students in the class etc.)

I offer ULTeachers to participate in Tuesday sessions. Each session is in the form of a workshop on different topics which the teachers can choose according to their interests and school levels. All in all each teacher can participate at least once a month. If some of the teachers wish and have time, they can attend the sessions of any topic they like among suggested. Then it’s almost each Tuesday.

The place is not established for all of the sessions. I’ll inform you next week about all of the places where we could make our workshops. The most of the sessions are at EPSD and I would like to have some in ECSD and Ukrainian Language Education Centre (ULEC).
